Today the Senate Finance Committee debates the Public Option, an amendment offered by Schumer (NY) and Rockefeller (WV). If you believe, as I do, that without a public option to spur competition and keep insurance companies honest, any health care reform will be, if not meaningless, then certainly toothless, call or email the following Senators right now:
Max Baucus (Montana), Tom Carper (Delaware), Robert Menendez (New Jersey), Kent Conrad (North Dakota), Jeff Bingaman (New Mexico), John Kerry (MA), Blanche Lincoln (Arkansas), Ron Wyden (Oregon), Debbie Stabenow (Michigan), Maria Cantwell (Washington), and Bill Nelson (Florida)
